While it is necessary to protect roof edges with collective means of protection, the means of access to such areas must also be safe, and the traffic lines on the roof shall be indicated. The range securigard also includes product to match these legal requirements.
Ladders
We manufacture ladders with hoops (also called cat ladder) for access above 2.2m high.
- The ladders are supplied in standard modules of 1.2 and 2.4m, available from stock, with a wide choice of wall and ground fixations.
- All our ladders have anti slippery rungs.
- Complying with BS EN 14 122-4, the ladders are available with includes 'half landing' for access over 9m, and above 9m, ‘half landings’ every 6m. (see picture).
- Locking systems to allow access only to authorised people is also available.
We also manufacture galvanised steel simple ladders for access under 2.2m height.
